The Victorians loved their specimens. Popular jewels around the turn of the century included iridescent butterfly wings behind glass and the tiniest moths in lockets. This pendant is double sided and has an actual tiny moth on each side with a wisp of grass on a mother of pearl background. Circa 1900. The chain is 14k gold.
Details.....The pendant measures .90" across, and the chain is 18" long. In very good antique condition. You should always expect some wear on a vintage or antique jewel, we consider it part of the charm.
