This a unique and interesting ring. Dating from the first half of the 19th century this ring has a bloodstone set in its hinged top. The bloodstone is a dark green with red flecks. The top of the ring opens to reveal a generous compartment, the shoulders of the ring are decorated with hand engraved reptilian scales. The underneath side of the locket compartment has a personal engraving, it says Phil 1st 3r.
Measurements: 15mm x 12.8mm at the top and 4.1mm at the back of the shank.
Materials: 18k Yellow gold, and Bloodstone.
Condition: Excellent with light wear in keeping with its age.
Size: Currently a size 5.5, I do not recommend sizing.
