I just realized that this petite sterling silver locket is actually a charm, a charm representing an Art Deco make-up compact. The rectangular case is engraved with pinstripes, in the fashion of the day. It's hinged at the base, opening to reveal a tiny mirror, "powder puff," and "pot of rouge." A jump ring bale suspends the piece from a sterling silver cable chain. Utterly adorable, and it may still be used as a locket if you like. Circa 1920.

Details.....The chain is 16" long. The charm measures .36" by .64". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
