Art Nouveau W&H Co. Gold Filled Locket

This lovely Art Nouveau locket is faced with a graceful geometric design accented with a white paste stone. The locket is held in a decorative, scrolling frame with an integrated bale. The interior of the locket is marked with a heart containing the initials "W&H CO," "Pat Aug 2 04" is stamped below. The interior glass and frame are missing. Circa 1904.

Wightman & Hough Co. was a jewelry manufacturer located in Providence, Rhode Island. W&H Co was in operation from 1856 to 1922. Each W&H Co piece was hallmarked with their signature stamp: a heart containing the initials "W&H CO" inside. 

Details.....The modern gold filled chain is 22" long. The locket measures 0.98" by 1.23". In Very Good vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
