The scrolling 14k gold flourishes of the lotus blossom petals form the prongs that secure the gorgeous stone. The setting's design is in the Arts and Crafts aesthetic of the early 20th century. This American beauty was crafted by the Newark, New Jersey jewelry maker, Steeber, Kraus Co. It dates to circa 1910. Newark was the seat of American fine jewelry manufacturing in the early 20th century. 

Details.....Currently a size 4.5, we will size it for free. The top of the ring measures 16.5mm by 18.4mm, the back of the band measures 2.3mm. In Very Good Antique condition. This ring is over 100 years old, some wear is to be expected and considered part of the charm.
