A gorgeous piece of green and white jade is beautifully carved in three dimensions with a pomegranate, plums and a frog. These things are significant Chinese symbols: pomegranates symbolize good luck and longevity, plums symbolize resiliance and perseverance in the face of adversity and frogs symbolize healing and good fortune in business. Just what the doctor ordered. The decorative bale is 18k gold. Circa 1920.
