Edwardian elegance, from Bailey Banks & Biddle. This enchanting 18k gold engagement ring is a classic design, elevated by thoughtful details. A sparkly .25ct old European cut diamond is displayed sweetly in a white gold, six-prong head. Deep v-shaped grooves pierce shoulders that taper into a slender half round band. Signed "BB&B" and marked "18k 53908. The ring also bears the personal inscription "A.L.S. to J.B.W. Nov. 9th, 1919."

Bailey Banks & Biddle is an American jewelry retailer that was established in 1832. At the turn of the 20th century, Bailey Banks & Biddle was commissioned by the U.S. Government to update the Great Seal of the United States; it remains the official version of the seal to this day. The company also designed and made the Congressional Medal of Honor, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the first Purple Heart medals.

Details.....Currently a size 6. The ring's head measures 4.5mm, the band is 1.3mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
