Brilliant green paste gems are set in these early long gold French Provincial earrings. The jewels from the more rural areas of France reflect local traditions, I can see a woman with her hair wrapped in a white scarf, a basket on her arm with these lovely earrings swinging from her ears. The gold tests to 12k and the earrings date from circa 1800-20.
Details.....The earrings measure 2.43" long, the tops measure .48" across, and the bottoms are .60" across. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
