Bejeweled 19th Century Silver Hand Clasp Bracelet

The clasp on this early 1800s silver bracelet is superb. The realistically modeled hand is bejeweled with a pearl ring on one finger and a pair of blue turquoise flowers intertwined on its sleeve. The folded link style chain is wonderful as well, with a flower on both sides of each link. This piece is quite wearable, the clasp is secure. This bracelet likely began its life when it was made in the early 1800s as a long chain, but its current form is a delight.
