Bewitching Butterfly Stone Inlay Ring

This bewitching little butterfly ring has a clever design and lovely craftsmanship. The top of the ring is sterling silver overlay, creating a dark oxidized layer that peeks through a brightly polished silver layer. The winged insect herself is formed by teardrop shapes of turquoise and agate inlay set in the polished silver layer. Shiny silver beads sit at the interstices. The decorative top of the ring is a flat plaque set atop a tapered half round band. So sweet and colorful, she looks like she might just fly away. Circa 1970.
