An unusual turquoise and sterling silver ring with a statement-making size. The top of the ring is an elongated oval with two pale blue turquoise nuggets set vertically in raised bezels. The stones are framed in twisted rope with beaded accents. A wheat sheaf detail embellishes the center. Brightly polished high points contrast with oxidized low points. The decorative top of the ring is a flat plaque set atop a split-shoulder band. Bold and beautiful with interesting details. Circa 1970.
