Dramatic Bloodstone in Gold Filigree Ring

A cabochon of rich and moody bloodstone is the star of this breathtaking filigree ring. An unexpected 14k yellow gold setting compliments the red and dark green hues of the dramatic stone. The bloodstone nestles within a delicate sawtooth bezel and a twisted gold frame. The deep gallery is composed of Neoclassical motifs of columns and swags wrought in lacy filigree. Beautifully pierced and sculpted shoulders taper into a sleek band, and delicate engraved details complete the ring. Lovely from every angle. Circa 1930.

Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The ring measures 14.6mm by 18.3mm at the top and 1.3mm wide at the back of the band.
