This dark beauty has two rows of glittering rose cut garnets set in gilt metal. The garnets graduate in size, making the front of the bangle wider than the back. Tiny round garnet beads are scattered between the rose cuts. The oval bracelet is hinged, which makes it easy to put on and take off. The clasp closes tightly, and there is a safety chain for added security. Circa 1860.

These gorgeous rose cut garnet pieces were made from the mid to late 1800s in what was then Bohemia and is now a part of The Czech Republic. It makes sense that the entire Bohemian style is named after the country; in the 19th century, Bohemia was the place for the Avante Gardé in fashion, design, and lifestyle.

Details.....The bracelet measures 0.40" wide in the front and 0.25" in the back. The inside measures 2.1" by 1.7" when the bracelet is closed. In Very Good Antique Condition, with a repair on the inside. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
