Bold Gold and Lapis Egyptian Revival Ring

This big 14k gold ring features a scarab beetle holding the sun on each shoulder. Set in the center is a bevel edge square of gem quality lapis lazuli set on point in a laurel leaf decorated frame. Lapis was a treasured gem in Dynastic Egypt. This ring dates from the 1920-30s when everything Egyptian was all the rage following the discovery of the tomb of King Tutankhamun by Lord Carnarvon in 1922.

Details... Currently a size 10. The top of the ring measures 18.1mm wide, and the band is 3.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
