Two bright blue turquoise stones are set in this Native American sterling silver ring. The turquoises sit, top and bottom, on a long vertical plaque. Silver overlay curlicues edge the plaque. Overlay is a technique in which carved and polished silver is applied to a layer of oxidized silver, creating a shadow box effect. Silver beads are placed around the stones, and at the scrolled triple split shoulders. Circa 1960.
Details.....Currently a size 9.25. The ring's top measures 14mm by 26.4mm, the band is 3mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
