This beautiful Victorian pendant depicts Jesus with the sacred heart, carved in ivory. The carved ivory is set in 18k gold frame and surrounded by a pearl halo. Pearls symbolized purity and tears to the Victorians. A tiny rose cut diamond is set at the top by the bale. The carving is so sensitive. This is a truly lovely and unusual necklace. Circa 1890s. We cannot ship this piece to California.
Details.....The pendant measures 0.93" across. The modern 18k gold chain is 18" long. In Excellent antique condition. You should expect to see wear on antique and vintage jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
