Gold Curb Chain with Best Locking Hook by Ancient Influences

A 14k gold flattened curb chain clasps with a spring ring, this classic piece dates to the 1920s. The previously mentioned watch hook is 9ct gold, circa 1850. It is such a cool piece of hardware. Attractive and curvaceous, it has a locking mechanism that allows the hook to be opened and then securely closed. The hook moves freely on the chain which allows the piece, and whatever you hang from it, to lay nicely when worn.

From the Married Chains Collection by Ancient Influences. All of the ingredients in this necklace are recycled and vintage. I love using vintage findings, and am thrilled by the discovery of just the right split ring or hook for a piece.

Details.....The chain is 19" long, the links are 3mm wide and the hook is 0.87" long. This piece weighs 16.7 grams.
