Rock Crystal 19th Century Family Crest Ring

An oval disc of translucent rock crystal is carved with a 19th Century heraldic image, then set in a 15ct gold ring. A Lion Rampant emerges from a crown, set atop a shield decorated with bars and stars known heraldically as Mullets. The crystal is bezel set over grooved and banded shoulders, an elegant presentation for this historically interesting stone. Circa late 1800.

Details... Currently a size 9. The top of the ring measures 17.5mm x 16.5mm, and the band is 2.6mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition, there is some wear to the stone. You should expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
