Charles Garnier 18k Gold Panther Hoops

Comme c'est sauvage. A languid panther lounges in an oversized 18k gold hoop earring; these hoops are a pair, but the big cat has chosen to perch in the left one. The hoops are chunky, high-polish tubes with hinged bar tops. The panther is brushed and glossy, like an animal's pelt. Very thoroughly marked with Charles Garnier's clover mark. Circa 1980.
