Charming Goldfinch Mother of Pearl Inlay Ring

A portrait of an American Goldfinch (I think, perhaps an oriole?) depicted in mother of pearl inlay. So lovely, this little yellow bird with black striped wings perches on a turquoise branch against a luminous mother of pearl sky. The inlay oval is set in a scalloped sterling silver frame, with a rope detail surround and hand stamped details. The top sits above split shoulders that taper back to a narrow band. Absolutely charming. Circa 1960.
