Three strands of cherry red glass beads are accented by cobalt blue and faux turquoise bead stations in this graphic necklace signed deLillo. The gorgeous clasp resembles a stylized butterfly, with red, blue, and turquoise glass cabochons set in the gold-tone "wings." Signed "deLillo" on the clasp's back. A fabulous and very collectible piece. Circa 1970.

DeLillo jewelry, in production. from 1968 to 1976, was created by Belgian-born designer William deLillo and his partner Robert F. Clark. Delillo was known for its bold and sculptural designs, blending high-fashion couture with avant-garde styles for elite clients like Elizabeth Taylor.
