This Chinese necklace and earring set features glowing carnelian gems and exquisite metal work. A silver gilt necklace of delicate filigree links and tiny grape clusters supports three carnelian drops. The carnelian cabochons are framed in lacy filigreed grape clusters and vines. The earrings match the drops, each hung on a French ear wire. The decorative necklace clasp is marked with Chinese characters. A lovely set that reflects the 1920's fascination with Chinese fashion and design. Circa 1920.
Details.....The necklace is 18" long and the drops measure 0.83" by 0.88". The earrings measure 1.25" by 0.84". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
