Chinese Repoussé Silver Heart Pendant on Beads

This wonderful Chinese necklace dates to the end of the Qing Dynasty, China's longest and final imperial dynasty. The pendant is a silver heart, double sided, and decorated with flowers using the repoussé technique, giving it depth. A silver flower link connects the pendant to a beaded necklace. The two-strand necklace of coral, mother of pearl, and turquoise beads is strung on bright yellow silk. The piece is finished with a silver chain and a hook and eye clasp. Like most vintage Chinese jewels, this necklace is incredible, with so much detail you will never tire of admiring it. Circa 1920.

Details.....The necklace is 20" long, and the pendant measures 1.06" by 1.18". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewelry; we consider it part of the charm.
