These fabulous cufflinks were designed by Norwegian painter Thorbjørn Lie-Jørensen for David Andersen of Norway in the late 1950s. They belong to the "Four Seasons" series; these cufflinks represent "Winter," with complementary hues of gold, teal, green, and icy blue enamel on sterling silver gilt. Ice, snow, and the low winter sun are represented in the abstract. The cufflinks are signed "D-A Sterling Norway 925S" for David Andersen. A very handsome example of Mid-Century Scandinavian design from an important artist. Circa 1950.

Details.....The cufflink faces measure .90" by .56", and the feet measure .84" by .35". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect small imperfections in vintage and antique jewelry; we consider this part of their charm.
