Deco Filigree White Gold Camphor Glass Ring

A classic sun ray design is carved into the reverse of the camphor glass set into this Art Deco ring. In the center of the glass plaque is a white gold diamond shape set with a small round diamond. The filigree is detailed and lacy with an overall floral motif. The ring is 14k white gold and the floral design continues down the band from the lattice filigree. Circa 1920.

Camphor glass was a popular material in jewelry of the 1920's, it was created by exposing clear glass to hydrofluoric acid fumes which created the frosted opaque look.

Details.....The ring is currently a size 6, and can be sized up or down 1 size for no extra charge. The ring measures 18.5mm x 13.9mm at the top and 2.7mm at the shoulder.
