Delightful Antique Earrings with Sapphires & Diamonds

These antique earrings are a dream come true, with an airy openwork design crafted in icy platinum over luxe 18k yellow gold. Elegant drops are delicately pierced and engraved, set with old mine cut diamonds framed in sparkling rose cut diamonds. A stripe of sapphires contrasts with the glittering diamond-set platinum. The drops hang from dainty tops set with tiny rose cuts and fitted with comfortable and secure 18k gold lever backs. The wires are marked "750," indicating the earrings may be European. Craftsmanship and fine detail meet with great success in these delightful earrings. Circa 1915.
