Diamond set Double Snake Ring in 18k
I love the curvaceous feel this double-headed snake ring has. Made of rich yellow 18k gold each snake's head is set with an old mine cut diamond. The ring has a series of English Hallmarks in the shank. The mark for Chester, the mark for 18k gold, a makers mark, and the date letter for 1913. This ring would make a lovely wedding ring, snakes were often given as love tokens in the Victorian era.
