A slab of dramatic lapis lazuli, set in a 950 grade silver brooch. The oval stone is held in tabbed prongs within a twisted silver frame. The lapis is spattered with white matrix and spangled with golden flecks of pyrite, a luxurious detail. This brooch has both a pin and a bale: so it may be worn as a pendant, should you wish. Circa 1920.
