Dreamy Edwardian Aquamarine Halo Ring

Edwardian gemstone and diamond halo rings are always a delight; this particular example is especially lovely. An oval aquamarine of exceptionally saturated color is set in a platinum bezel with delicate milgrain detail. Ten little rose cut diamonds surround in a flowery halo of 18k yellow gold. Delicate shoulders taper back into a narrow band. The combination of colors and textures is dreamy, reminiscent of the paintings of Jean-Honoré Fragonard. Circa 1910.
