This gorgeous English ring dates to 1838, the first year of Queen Victoria's reign! The rich cobalt blue of this ring's enamel looks so opulent against the rich buttery 18k gold. The top of the ring is a plaque displaying a pearl studded star framed in enamel; the shoulders are embellished with scroll work featuring elaborate roses. The pearl is a creamy white and the enamel is in great condition. This piece, while somewhat delicate in its distinguished old age, remains quite wearable.
This English ring displays the hallmarks for Birmingham, 18k and the year 1838.
Details.....The panel top measures 12.7mm by 10.8mm. The shank measures 2mm. Currently a size 7, can be sized up or down 2 sizes at no additional charge.
