Lovely Edwardian style in this pretty Navette shaped ring centered with a bezel set 4.3mm Natural Sapphire.
Open and lacy wire work denotes the style of the Edwardian era, the Sapphire centrally set to be the focal point of the ring. The v-shaped shoulders taper down to a slim shank to keep all of the focus where it belongs, on the top of the ring.
White Gold was Patented in 1918 by Belais Co. in the USA, so this is an example of early use of white gold.
