Egyptian Revival Czech Glass & Brass Swag Necklace

A superb Egyptian Revival swag necklace of lapis-colored Czech glass and brass. The choker-length necklace is composed of two strands of flattened bar link chain. Two sizes of glass beads hang from the chains, forming a fetching fringe. The central element features a large brass scarab perched upon an oval glass gem with three beaded dangles. The piece clasps with a lobster clasp and extender chain. Beautifully constructed and very dramatic. Circa 1920.

Details.....The necklace is 14" long, 17" with extender chain. The central element measures .90" by 2.17", the beads measure 6.1mm and 10.3mm in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
