Elaborate Niello Striped Silver and Gold Married Chain

I love to mix metals and textures. Two styles of antique gold and silver chains are combined in this necklace to create something fabulous. The first chain is a length of 800 grade silver twisted curb links alternated with rose gold links. The silver links are striped with niello enamel. The second chain is faceted links of 9ct gold. The silver chain ends in a large silver C-clasp. The chains attach to a niello-striped silver connector in the shape of a trefoil. A silver watch hook with decorative stripes hangs from the trefoil. This chain has all of the good stuff, and the hook allows you to add all of your favorite lockets, pendants and talismans.

The ingredients of this necklace date from 1880 to 1900.

Details.....Chain measures 19" long. The silver chain measures 5.4mm wide, the trefoil measures 16mm, the hook measures 14mm, the gold chain measures 3.4mm wide.
