Elaborate Noh Mask Bracelet by Selro

This elaborate Devil Bracelet from Selro features the White Devil Mask. The White Devil, or Noh Okina mask, is inspired by the happy old man mask used in Japanese Noh dramas. Three thermoplastic masks sit on the wide tapered gold-tone bracelet; a larger mask sits centrally flanked by smaller masks. Green cabochon and magenta faceted rhinestones accent the heavily engraved metalwork. The bracelet fastens with a folding clasp. Signed "Selro Corp." in several places. These pieces were produced in small numbers and are very collectible. Circa 1960.

Selro Costume Jewelry was established in the late 1940s by Paul Selenger. The company was known for its unusual designs and Asian or African figural pieces.

Details: The bracelet is 7.25" long and 1.72" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
