Jewelers in the 1920s were inspired by the widely publicized discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb; this pendant is a charming example of Egyptian Revival style. Two winged snakes are crowned with a lotus blossom. The 14k gold figures are accented with enamel and embellished with a natural pearl and a tiny bezel set old mine cut diamond. A baroque natural pearl depends from the bottom of the pendant. So graceful, with flowing lines informed by Art Nouveau design. Circa 1920.

Details.....The pendant measures 1.19" by 0.79". The modern 14k gold chain is 18" long. In Very Good vintage condition, the bale has been repaired. You should expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
