Enchanting Art Nouveau Woman Fob

This enchanting Art Nouveau fob is shaped like a woman's head. Her flowing hair and Egyptian Revival headdress are lovely examples of the design movement's aesthetic. Her serene face hovers over a blossom framed by the whiplash lines of her curling tresses. The gold filled fob is three dimensional, double-sided, and suspended from a large decorative ring. What a wonderful piece. Its large bale ring makes it easy to wear any way you like. Circa 1890.
