This Art Deco engagement ring has all of the enchanting details that make the jewels of this era so special: gorgeous geometry, elegant balance, delicate engraving and pierce work and, best of all, a dazzling diamond. The stunning center stone is a 0.85ct transitional cut diamond with SI1 clarity and H-I color. It sits in a raised, milgrained hexagonal head that displays the diamond perfectly. The engraved platinum top of the ring slopes gently away from the bezel; three little accent diamonds are set at each shoulder and one accent stone is set at the north/south points, the accents stones have a 0.25tcw. The platinum sits over 14k white gold, crisp engraving and foliate pierce work embellish the shoulders and gallery making this ring a delight from every angle. The cruciform shape of this engagement ring is lovely on the hand. It will take her breath away. Circa 1920.
