This enchanting antique bar pin is set with sparkling diamonds. A little old mine cut diamond is set in the center of this brooch, and it is flanked with three rose cut diamonds on each side. The Edwardian practice of layering platinum over 18k yellow gold presents itself beautifully in this piece, adding dimension to the elegant brooch. The delicate milgrained filigree is wonderful. The bar pin secures with a sleek and safe trombone clasp. Light enough to wear on a scarf and bold enough to adorn a suit jacket. Circa 1910.
