This charming English 9ct gold locket is exquisitely engraved, front and back, with lovely Victorian motifs. The front is incised with flowers and curling acanthus leaves. A shield nestles in the lush foliage. The back of the locket is covered in ivy leaves. The interior of the locket is lined in purple cloth, with two frames. The piece closes tightly and is finished with a handy added jump ring. The back marked "9ct Front & Back." Circa 1880.
Details.....The locket measures .90" by 1.26". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
