English Opal & Diamond 18ct Gold Belcher Band

We have a soft spot for antique Chester rings; they often have something unexpected about them. This opal and diamond ring has all the classic elements, just a bit rearranged, bringing a fresh look to the style. Three opals and four diamonds are set across the top of a luxe 18ct gold belcher band. The center stone is a larger oval opal, flashing with pink, green, and blue sparks. Four wee old mine cut diamonds flank that gem, set vertically in two sparkling rows. A fiery little round opal sits at each end. The gem-encrusted top of the ring tapers smoothly into a slim band. Beautifully balanced in every way. The band bears hallmarks for Chester, England, 18ct gold, and the years 1896-97.

Details.....Currently a size 6.5. The top of the ring measures 15mm by 5.7mm, and the band is 2.1mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
