This English sterling silver fob features a round convex shield framed by a laurel wreath. The front of the medal has no personal engraving. The back of the medal is engraved: I & D.C.L. DIV. 1 1937. This most likely refers to the Ipswich & District Cricket League.

The back of the piece is hallmarked for London, sterling silver, and 1937-38. It also bears the Toye & Co. maker's mark. Toye & Co. was founded in 1685, located in Covent Garden, London. The company is still in existence and retains Toye family members. This lovely fob makes a great pendant and has a sterling jump ring attached. Wear it on one of our Ancient Influences' married chains for maximum style.

Details: The fob measures 1.19" by 1.30". In Very Good Vintage Condition, with some losses to the enamel. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
