Engraved Victorian 15ct Gold Buckle Ring
This wonderful example of the popular Victorian buckle ring features a realistically sculpted buckle on an egraved cigar band-style band. Buckle jewels are traditionally presented as love tokens. The belt and buckle motif symbolizes that the giver and recipient are as well matched as a belt and its buckle. The ring is hallmarked for England, Chester, 15ct and the year 1897.
