Etruscan Revival Earbobs in 14k Gold

Victorian earrings are growing harder and harder to find; this pair of Etruscan Revival earbobs are a real score. The 14k gold earrings are the ideal size for daily wear, lightweight, and adorable. A gold sphere hangs from the shell-shaped earrings top, swinging from a cute little hinge. Both shell and sphere are heavily embellished with Etruscan Revival designs of applied wire and bead work. A light bloom covers the surface, highlighting the earrings' ornate detail. Locking French ear wires are secure and comfortable. These earbobs are so wonderful you will never want to take them off. Circa 1870.

Details.....The earrings measure 1.05" long and the ball is .44" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear is to be expected on vintage and antique jewels, it a part of their charm.
