Exquisite Edwardian French Cut Sapphire & Diamond Band

A delightful antique band set with diamonds and a dreamy light blue French cut sapphire, then embellished with delicate engraved details. Five little boxes span the top of the 14k white gold ring, engraved with crisp milgrain edges. Each graduated, stepped box is set with a sparkly gemstone; the sapphire is center set with four round diamonds flanking it. Gorgeous floral engraving girds the slender band, and the edges are engraved with leaves. This exquisite Edwardian band has lived more than one life, and is hand engraved with the personal inscription "I.M.R. E.E.R. 1942." A light and lovely piece that plays the role of an engagement ring or a wedding band with equal success. Circa 1910.

Details.....A size 7.5, this ring cannot be sized without damaging the engraved pattern. The top of the ring measures 15.3mm by 3.9mm, and the band is 1.3mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
