This Art Deco pendant watch is incredible, featuring a small Invicta watch displayed in a fantasy of colorful enamel. The open-faced watch sits in a round case that swivels in an arched frame. The watch face is framed in turquoise and black petals, while the back of the case is embellished with blue and green roses on a black field. The frame is enameled in black with a spiral motif. Two red gems, set in silver caps, dangle from the sides. This fabulous timepiece hangs on a long black cord, threaded with a small, flower-enameled slide. This is an avant-garde Jazz Age dream, wild and wonderful. Circa 1920.
Invicta was founded in 1837 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Raphaël Picard. His goal was to offer quality timepieces at accessible prices. Invicta continues to produce watches to this day.
Details.....The watch case measures .89" in diameter and .69" deep. Its frame measures 1.08" by 1.91" with bale. The cord is 30" long. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
