Fantastic Victorian Chandelier Earrings with Rubies

During the middle of the Victorian era, fashion developed an enthusiastic interest in Middle Eastern art and design. These wonderful gold filled chandelier earrings are a delightful example of that influence. Three dimensional tops are elaborately engraved and embellished with tiny rubies. Delicately curling festoons and four pendulums are suspended from the tops; they are thoroughly articulated and have a great deal of graceful movement. The ear wires are 14k gold. Circa 1860-1870.
Details.....These earrings have a 2" drop from the lobe and measure 0.68" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
