This fascinating Mid-Century ring speaks on so many levels. A shallow bowl of 18k gold holds a superb turquoise cabochon at its heart. A dark matrix shatters the electric teal turquoise to dramatic effect. Granulated gold gives the bowl's interior an organic texture, while its exterior is highly polished. The dramatic top of the ring sits on a heavy 14k gold band. Does the ring look ancient? Futuristic? A bit of both, like many of the most interesting Modernist jewels. Circa 1960.

Details.....Currently a size 8.75. The top of the ring measures 26.4mm in diameter, with an 8.2mm profile and a 4.7mm wide band. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
