This engraved silver locket is so classically Victorian. Large silver lockets were very fashionable day wear for ladies in the Mid Victorian period. This sterling locket is hand engraved with fern fronds on one side and pretty scrollwork on the other. The engraved center is framed by a rivet head design on both sides. The locket interior is in good, clean condition; there is no glass or frame. The locket comes on a sterling silver chain, try wearing it on a ribbon for a very pretty, historically accurate look.
Details.....The locket measures 1.28" wide and 2.33" long with bale. The chain is 18" long. In Very Good antique condition.You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
