Ornate Silver Gilt Filigree Brooch with Glass Gems

This delightful vintage brooch was influenced by the exquisite jewels of 19th Century Austro-Hungaria. Beautifully wrought silver gilt filigree forms the lacy body of the piece. A pale lavender glass gem sits at the center of the piece, set in a silver bezel and framed with tiny seed pearls and engraved forget me nots. Red garnet-colored glass gems encircle the brooch's edge. The brooch is secured with a safety clasp and has a jump ring bale so the piece may also be worn as a pendant. Bring a little drama to your favorite jacket with this ornate jewel.
