Exquisitely Worked Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire

This wonderful Art Deco ring features a sparkling diamond set in exquisitely worked 18k white gold. The 0.27ct old European cut diamond is set in a hexagonal head, lacy filigree frames the stone creating an effect reminiscent of a spider's web. The gallery and gracefully tapered shoulders are pierced and engraved with a Neoclassical foliate pattern, giving the body of the ring an elegant architectural feel. A particularly pleasing example of this classic style. Circa 1920.

Details.....Currently a size 6.5. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 9mm by 9.6mm, and tapers to 1mm at the back of the band. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
